Initiative Tracker
How to use this tool

What it's for. Run combat without touching the mouse. Add everyone in the fight, advance turns with the space bar, and the player display (your OBS browser source) follows along in real time — showing only the turn order, never your HP or condition notes.

Running a fight

  • Add combatants — name, initiative roll, HP, and (DM-only) AC; leave HP blank for PCs you don't track. Highest initiative acts first; the list sorts itself.
  • Drop in monsters — drag a creature from the Stat Block Index onto the turn order (or tap +). Its HP is read from the stat block and initiative auto-rolled. While an enemy is selected or taking its turn, its full stat block sits on the left.
  • Player AC — the 🛡 badge beside each PC is for your eyes only; it's stored in this browser and never reaches the player display.
  • Resolve ties — use the ▲▼ handles to nudge a combatant up or down within their initiative.
  • Advance the turn — hit Space. At the bottom of the order it wraps to the top and bumps the round. +/ adjust the active combatant's HP; n jumps to the name field.
  • Track state — − / + or type to set HP; the bar turns amber then red. Add conditions from the dropdown (click a pill to clear it). ⚡ marks concentration. At 0 HP, death-save circles appear.
  • 👁 Visibility — controls who shows on the player display. Monsters start hidden so you can reveal them dramatically; PCs and named NPCs start visible.

The player display

Switch the players' screen from the Display tab — ambient card, live combat order, a speaking NPC, or a mission dossier. While a fight is live this encounter feeds the combat view automatically; open Display and hit ⚔ Combat when you want players to see the turn order.

One encounter runs at a time. New Encounter archives the current one; End Encounter closes the fight and returns the display to ambient.
