What it's for. A running field notebook for the hub — the small, living details that make the city feel real: who the players met, where they went, and what the place felt like. Read it before every session so the world has continuity.

How to fill it in

• Category — pick one: People (an NPC, faction, or relationship), Places (a location, business, or district), or Atmosphere (a mood, rumour, or sign of change).
• Entry — two or three sentences is plenty. Write what you'd want to remember next week.
• Tags — optional, comma-separated. One tag earns its keep: tag any NPC note with npc and it auto-feeds the "Key NPCs" layer of your Session Prep sheet.

Reading it back

• Use the filter tabs and search to narrow the list.
• Generate Session Brief collects the last 14 days, groups them by category, and opens a clean print view — your pre-session read.
• The × on a card deletes it (with a confirm).

Aim for at least one entry per category after each session — it takes two minutes and keeps the hub coherent.
